  Although the food was not as great as it should be for the price, it was the service we did not enjoy. The young lady who was training the new server was simply horrible to him in front of us. No one wants to see someone humiliate a trainee, especially not while eating. Please train your staff appropriately so they can adequately and respectfully train the new staff. If you're traveling to Marfa for the first time, I'd recommend you cookout on your own instead of coming here.

  SUCH a delicious restaurant! I've never been here when it's warm enough to sit outside, but the inside is wonderful and cozy. I've had dinner and brunch here and both are so delicious. The menu changes all the time and it's all expertly done. Would come back in a heartbeat!

  This restaurant was delicious and the wine list was great, and the gimlet was one of the best I've ever had. However, the staff kinda needs to learn how to work in a restaurant. When we walked in the door, we were not acknowledged for a few minutes (there were at least three empty tables, so they weren't insanely busy). All ya have to do is say hi, it'll just be a minute! We ordered a bottle of wine, and the server brought over the wrong bottle, already opened. He insisted that this was the bottle we ordered, and that the menu was worded wrong. Um, this is why you present the bottle to the person who ordered it, and THEN open it. The staff was friendly, definitely, they just need a tiny lesson in service industry standards.
